The crew were excellent, the food was wonderful and well suited to the conditions (thanks to Dona Graca!) and we were helped to make the most of a very low river by our guides, Wayne and Fernando. I was a bit disappointed to see that the <a href=http:\/\/www.amazonastravel.com.br\/amazon_clipper_i.html target=\"New\"><b>Amazon Clipper<\/b><\/a> had not been well maintained and is looking very tired.  The owners need to spend some money \u2013 not too much \u2013 on re-furbishing the boat or they will lose clients.  I would now only recommend the Clipper to friends who are not too fussy about the condition of the boat, which needs new paint, new cabin fittings, better a\/c arrangements, better showers and little things tidied up and fixed \u2013 like the reading light that fell off on my bunk!!  I hope that this feedback is helpful to you and the Clipper owners, who may need reminding that they must keep their equipment up to scratch if they want to maintain their reputation.
