Hi Luciana,<\/p>\n

I have just returned to Canada after a wonderful trip to Brazil.<\/p>\n

My time at the Pousada Aldeia dos Lagos<\/b><\/a> was absolutely everything that I hoped that it would be and more. While I can appreciate that the program and the lodgings are not for everyone, for those who want to avoid tourist traps and experience the beauty and the complexity of the Amazon Basin first hand, Pousada Aldeia dos Lagos certainly fits the bill. In addition, the expert guide, friendly people (staff and residents of the area alike) and the plentiful, tasty food of the area made the \u201cecotourism adventure\u201d even more enjoyable. I have absolutely no complaints and nothing to suggest to make
\nsuch a trip even better!<\/p>\n

There were a couple of little hitches. The itinerary that you sent me said that pick-up for departure to Silves was at 2 pm. I found this a little strange so was ready first thing in the morning. And at 7:40 I was paged over the hotel intercom as the driver was waiting for me. So all is well that ends well.<\/p>\n

The other was a little more inconvenient. My pick-up at 1:40 am for my flight to Campinas never arrived. I waited until 2:10 and then took a taxi to the airport.<\/p>\n

But all in all, what a wonderful experience and thanks to you for making my dream of many years to visit the Amazon all come true.<\/p>\n
