HI,
\nJust returned home yesterday from the trip.
\n1. Meeting of the waters<\/b><\/u><\/a> fantastic tour. We enjoyed seeing the meeting of the waters and especially enjoyed the canoe trip through the jungle. The lunch at the river side restaurant was wonderful. Local fish was particularly tasty.
\n2. The airport transfer<\/b><\/u><\/a> was very efficient and an employee from the tour company located at the hotel accompanied the driver . She spoke english so we enjoyed speaking with her about the area.
\n3. The Tropical hotel<\/b><\/u><\/a> is a wonderful old plantation style building . The food was local and nicely presented and served. But the humidity and dampness has left a lingering smell to the place. The air conditioning helped somewhat with the smell. Old world charm abounds!
\n4. I would like to commend you on the wonderful and timely service you provided. You not only communicated in a timely fashion via e-mail, your information was accurate and the arrangements you set up were flawless. I only wish you were the travel coordinator for the other trips we took while on the river. For example in Santarem we took an Arboretum tour with Seabourn- it was a jungle walk not an arboretum. I think you should see how your company could represent tours for Seabourn or other cruise lines in the Amazon.<\/p>\n
