We were really happy with your services and enjoyed our stay at the Tiwa Lodge very much.
We would have loved to stay longer and are planning to go back there one day to do just that.
Ricardo, the manager treated as exceedingly well, all the staff was very nice and the naturalist guides very knowledgeable. Also, the resort has allegedly been updated. In any case it was very nice, comfortable and relaxing. The food was good, too.
We will send some pictures as soon as we get around to sorting them out.
Only the transfer back to Ponta Negra in Tiwa’s rather small boat got kind of scary. It was already dark as it was close to 9 p.m. and the boat driver run right into a growth of thick grass in the middle of the Rio Negro. The spotter hadn’t seen it either. Luckily the engine started up again and the driver was able to get us out of there in reverse gear.
The van driver who picked us up at the port and then drove us to the airport the next day was very nice and punctual. We contacted your office only because we weren’t sure if he would come right to the pier (there was parking there, too, for tour vans and there were guides from other companies waiting right there that morning) or wait for us at the public port parking lot outside of the terminal. In the end it worked out very well.
