Ariaú Towers / Iberostar Grand Amazon

Dear Luciana,

We had a marvelous time on our trip. Ariaú was excellent. Our guide, Christophe Benguet, was one of the best we’ve ever had, very knowledgeable and very passionate about the ecology. The food at Ariaú was consistently superior and creative. The only real suggestion we would make about the Towers is the fact that you have to buy water. In a place where they recommend that you NOT drink their water, they should at least supply drinking water in the room and at meals. And I believe they could have supplied it on the excursions. The excursions were exciting but a little too much emphasis on buying worthless souvenirs. Other than that, the Ariaú was exceptional.

The Iberostar Grand Amazon was 5Star in our opinion. Our room was delightful with a beautiful balcony. The food was superior and consistently so, and everyone on the staff was friendly, helpful, and solicitous. We were pampered. The excursions were good but as with Ariau, too much emphasis on buying worthless souvenirs.

On a scale of 1 to 10, both places were a 10.

And lastly, we were very satisfied with the service that Viverde provided and with the patience and care given to us. I know I asked a lot of questions and you were always willing to answer–patiently and thoroughly. I would recommend Viverde completely.

Thanks. Peggy Vital
