Tucano Yacht

Hello Luciana,
We just got back yesterday and I was going to write to you today to thank you for arranging this wonderful trip.
You can certainly use my comments in your blog if you wish. First of all it was a pleasure dealing with you. One is always a little hesitant choosing a local company from the internet but you were totally professiona. All my emails and questions you answered promptly and patiently, your payment system made me feel comfortable that all information was secure and all the instructions about the trip were great. As far as the trip : IT WAS GREAT – Amazon Expedition Cruises by M/Y Tucano. We were picked up as arranged. The boat was clean and nice. The people that work on the boat is what made the trip fabulous. Our rooms were kept clean and our beds made before we got back at 8 am from our morning excursion. Jamara’s cooking was incredible. We had 2 dinners per day (lunch and dinner) fabulous breakfast, there was lots of fruit and choice. The crew were always smiling, the canoes were bailed out and dried before we got in them and our shoes were cleaned after every shore excursion. The guides Edivan and Souza were the best. Every time we went on an excursion we saw something we have not seen before. They spoke perfect english and had loads of information. Having an Indian guide like Souza gave us additional information about Indian herbs and legends.
Overall it was a fabulous trip and I would highly recommend it. We have been to Ecuadorian Amazon before and stayed in a lodge which was also fabulous but this trip gave us a totally different perspective as we did not realize the extent of flooding on yearly basis and how that affects both the plants and animals in the forest. We have not looked at our pictures yet, but once we do if I see something great I will forward it to you.
Thanks again Luciana.
