Thank you for your help getting us on this cruise (Iberostar Grand Amazon)! It was a wonderful! I have been recommending it to anyone who will listen to me.
The location is spectacular. From the two rivers to the wild life to the jungle to the local population, the span of this cruise is something not found elsewhere.
Although the cruise caters to Brazilians, there were a number of English speaking guests. There was never a problem communicating. Guides for tours with English speakers were bi-lingual.
I have cruised many times. The entire crew was without a doubt one of the most welcoming and helpful I have ever encountered. If you wanted/needed something, all you needed to do was ask. Most everyone knew you name.
The exploration guides and boat drivers went out of their way to ensure everyone saw, heard and experienced the rivers. Of particular note was the time in the water with the wild pink dolphins. Just spectacular!
The cabins were large and well appointed! Mine had the largest bath room I have ever seen on a cruise.
The only downside was having to leave after seven nights!
