I am very sorry that I did not answer to your message up to now! But I still kept it in my inbox, having in mind that I wanted to give a feed-back. I hope it will still be helpful for you.
We enjoyed the trip to the Amazon region very much! Hotel Plaza was fine for us. Not luxurious, but with all comfort we needed and very well located in the centre of Manaus. Acajatuba was very good – the only difficulty in the beginning: they had forgotten to fetch us at the airport. But there were nice people around who called Acajatuba and then they sent somebody to pick us up. The lodge was great, with very nice people and excellent food! …not to forget the lovely parrots! – I just missed mosquito nets in the rooms, which I thought would be good against any kind of insects that easily find (and found) their way into the rooms. As I am afraid of big spiders, I asked one of the staff at the lodge if I could get a mosquito net and he borrowed us his private one!
And last but not least: I appreciated very much the service of Viverde!! I felt best prepared for the trip and my questions were very quickly and personally answered.
