Amazon Clipper Tradicional

Hello Luciana, We all had a wonderful time on the Amazon Clipper and especially appreciated the terrific staff, led by Marcos, who is a multi-talented individual who can even tell jokes in English as well as being a source of great knowledge about the Amazon.
Several comments about other aspects may be helpful to you and Clipper. The first is that 4 out of 5 of my party, including myself were sick on the last morning of the cruise and the next day as were the majority of the other passengers. We think that the source of the problem was the baked catfish that we ate the night before as everyone who had it got sick and those who did not have it did not get sick. I think that the catfish had not been frozen properly or had deteriorated on board. It is not a good idea to give passengers fish poisoning!!!! So maybe Clipper should look closely at food management practices in this regard. Incidentally, the food was otherwise wonderful with great variety and excellent presentation!
Our other major comment is more general in that the vessel was great fun and fine for 4 days but the cabins need overhauling and repairs done to showers, air-conditioning, lights (eg no reading lights on bunks) and several fans were not working. These are minor issues but could be eliminated by a thorough overhaul of passenger accommodation. However, the vessel is otherwise ideal for the purpose.
One last comment relates to waste disposal while we were swimming at the beach. It was probably a mistake on the part of one of the crew, but it was unfortunate to have to wade through faeces in order to return to the vessel.
The stars of the show were Marcos on board and Fernando on our jungle trek.
Thank you for a very enjoyable cruise!!
