We are back in the US and getting back to normal after our trip.
We had a wonderful time at Amazon Tupana Lodge and have been telling the story of our trip to all our friends. The lodge was rustic and wonderful, the pet monkey was so fun to play with, and the food was fantastic! Each day we enjoyed the wonderful activities and programs that the lodge had prepared and Robinson, our guide, was informative, attentive, and thoughtful – he played with our young, 8-year-old son, making him several palm-frond toys that he cherished and we brought home with us. The high-light of the trip, for me, was going out on the Amazon at night and seeing all the stars. One thing you have to let people know that are coming to visit – there are no mosquitos on the Rio Negro – what a pleasant surprise! Truly it was a spectacular beginning to our visit to Brazil!
Thanks for your help in arranging all the travel – all the pick-ups and drop-offs went smoothly and I appreciate the good service and professional coordination.
