Ariaú Towers

Hello!
Hope all is well. Our trip at the amazon was well worth it. We really enjoyed ourselves. The Ariaú Towers is a very god hotel to stay. I personally feel if you want to stay in a decent lodge in the amazon than thats the one to stay. Its not luxurious but for the amazon standards where most of the lodges are rustic type the Ariaú is a very good lodge. The activities with lodge were good as well. The best is swimming with pink and grey dolphins in the wild. The swimming with dolphins is not provided by all the lodges. Again we feel all the activities with different lodges are more or less the same. The lodge has no mosquitoes. Did not get one bite! That was a very good plus point. Its todo with the location of the lodge. Although we did paste ourselves with deet!! The food was really good. Being a vegetarian i had no problems. They cater for vegetarians and they made delicious food for me. The omelettes are the best in the morning! The amazon is very beautiful and its well worth a visit. We went in the dry season (month of october). The scenery was beautiful. We were told by our guides if one goes in the wet season (may to july) then it is very different and highly recommended. If one had a choice then the wet season is recommended. Overall our trip was amazing. Amazonas by Viverde were very good in answering all our questions before we booked our trip. Their information was very accurate and we do recommend them in booking your trip as we did not have any problems with them. We dealt with luciana and she was very good.

We look forward to going back in the wet season!
