Just returned to SP for one more week in Brazil and afterwards back to Europe. We had a great trip and thanks for organizing, everything regrding logistics worked perfectly.
Viverde services: see above, excellent!
Hotel do Largo: Ok, basic hotel, efficient, clean, good location near opera-house.
Expedition Cruises: Excellent crew, oustanding guides, food local and excellent with lots of options. Cabins are fine (it is worthwile to pre-book no 3, 4, 5 and
6 if you want more comfort). Excursions very fascinating due to outstanding guides.
Only issue: some paranoia regarding swimming vs. other boats. Tucano does not even have opportunity to climb into the water as the (US) owner does not want to have any risk due to liabilities (US issue) incl. other SOP´s due to owners rules and regulations which makes life on board complicated and to much regulated. Makes ist also difficult for the crew to have more flexibility as they have strict instructions from the owner to stick to the rules. Would be simple to just let people sign a waiver and be more flexible. Well … otherwise: just great!
