I want to thank you for your help in booking our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed the Amazon trip and loved the Iberostar Grand Amazon. The excursions were great, we just wished they had been longer when we actually were at the event. It seemed like we would just get there and it was time to go. But overall everything was very nice and fun. Probably some of the best times were meeting people from all over. We made friends with families from South Africa, Poland, Mexico and Sao Paulo. The guides and staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and fun to be around. The food was excellent and for the Christmas dinner they had the most beautiful carvings out of watermelon and other fruits and vegetables. We were sad to see the week come to an end. As far as Manaus, we were able to fit in the Amazon Teatro Monday morning before the cruise and it was beautiful. Unfortunately we returned on Christmas day and nothing else was open expect the movie theater so we watched Star Wars. The hotel we stayed at was very accommodating and let us late check the first day and early check on Christmas day. We were very grateful. That is one thing that I do have a complaint about. The ship makes you leave so early that it is not convenient for hotel check in.
