Luciana: My sister and I just got back from Brazil. We loved Juma Lodge and consider it the highlight of a great trip to Brazil.
We had a great guide, Rildo, who showed us as much as he could of the area. We saw lots of birds and dolphins. It is tough to see the animals in the Amazon because the forest is so dense. But we still saw a lot. The area is just so beautiful and peaceful. It is also so interesting to see a glimpse of the river life.
The lodge is well run and the food very good. One of the joys is just sitting on the balcony of the cottage and watching the river. You see birds, dolphins, boats, sunsets. Very very special.
