Katerre Expedition

Hi Luciana
So we are back home safe and sound.
Our comments.
Well there is not so much to say about Manaus, we spent there just few days. Actually the same thing was in Santa Isabel. The hotel Ayuana was really a new hotel. It was so new that in our room there were no chair(s) no cupboard where to put clothes, but that was not a problem in our case because we spent there just one night.
An other missing thing was that there was not a possibility to get a breakfast. We have to go to a bakery and buy from there what we wanted and eat it in our room. Maybe they will build a terrace or something where to eat so that customers do not need to eat in their rooms (no chairs). Interesting experience anyhow, it did not bother us anyhow. At least it should mentioned somewhere, because I suppose most customers would like to eat something in the morgnings.
It might be a good idea if the cruise would start on the same day when the flight arrives so the customers do not need to overnight there. There is not so much to see in the city.

The boat (cruise Katerre Expedition) was perfect. Of course we were lucky because we were the only quests on board. The food was perfect, thanks for the kitchen queen Maria. It was just a pity that no one except the interpreter (Alina) did not speak anything else than Portuguese, I tried with my bad Spanish with bad success. Luckily we had Alina who translated all the discussions, so everything worked well. The boat was small as I hoped. no bad word for that. The air condition in the cabins was very necessary.
The excursions from the boat we made were very interesting and the captain who also was our guide was very good and all the crew was more than helpful and friendly.
We cannot find not a single negative word about the cruise, it was perfect.
So thank you for all the arrangements and mails we have had. You have been more than helpful.
We wish you a very good and happy year 2014.
Best regards
Timo & Aini
