Hotel Tropical / Amazon Clipper Tradicional

Hi Luciana,

My wife and just arrived home yesterday from our visit to Manaus and the Amazon. We had an interesting and enjoyable visit there.

We were pleased with Viverde services. You, especially, were very patient and thorough in answering all of our questions and arranging things for us. We appreciate your help very much.

Thank you again for your assistance.

The Tropical Ecoresort was very very nice, in fact the best one we stayed in during our nearly 4 weeks in South America. It was expensive but worth it. And the fact that our Amazon/Negro cruises started there made it an extremely convenient location. Also, the hotel/airport transfers went smoothly.

Our six days and five nights on the Amazon Clipper were memorable. The ship is small so we quickly gt to know all the other passengers (about a dozen of us, at the maximum). The only English-speaker among the crew was our guide, but that was not a problem. The crew was attentive, and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the hiking and canoe excursions; the wildlife viewing was exceptionally rewarding. The only negatives regarding the ship were the very tiny cabin (which was even smaller than expected) and the lack of consistent electricity and air conditioning for cooling the room, but perhaps that is part of the general Amazon experience.

In conclusion, thank you again for arranging our visit to Manaus and the river cruises. Along with our visit to Iguassu Falls, that experience was the highlight of our entire four-country trip (Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Panama).

Sincerely,
Charles Ward
