I only spent a few hours in Manuas.. I used the Plaza Hotel. I would call it “basic” but it served the purpose and was quite inexpensive.
The cruise on the Clipper Premium was really fine. The accommodations were very nice, the meals were very good, and the guides very knowledgeable. All in all the trip was very fine. The only suggestion would be to have more regional foods served. We had a few different types of fish, but I personally would like to have tried more, different things to eat. HOWEVER, I also know that not everyone feels that way. I assume the people have tried to reach a balance between the “unusual” and the “familiar”.
