Amazônia Tower Hotel / Anavilhanas Lodge / Iberostar Grand Amazon / Meeting of the Waters

Luciana, our trip went very well. We were well received with the Amazônia Tower Hotel. It is newly redone -, very simple but served us well.
Iberostar Grand Amazon ship went well. On check in they did not have 2 twin beds on the floor we were booked for, so they moved us up to the floor above
which served us very well. All the programs we went on, side trips, were well done. To get on and off the ship was a long walk, the only thing
that I would improve. The meeting of the waters trip was good because we got to see Victoria Regis lilly, and eat at a floating restaurant. Two things different from other tours. My family really loved the Anavilhanas Lodge. We were taken by small boat by the Other
Lodge upon stilts (where I had stayed in 2000 and whose name I cannot remember at the moment) It is very run down in appearance, some parts are still in use. I was glad I did not insist on staying there. The pink dolphins were a favorite of my granddaughter (26 years old). She got to see some sloths up in trees and also to hold one in captivity. Also an Anaconda snake in captivity. Our group got to swim in the Rio Negro even though the beeches are not available yet. Most of our guides in the Anavilhanas were very good. I wished for more information on how much to
tip taxis, bus drivers and tour guides especially since all companies do not do as the Iberostar does and pool their tips. My pictures are not yet
downloaded to my computer. When I have them ready I will send you some. Thanks for all your help.
