Here is what we experienced…….
I thought the service from Viverde was very professional, prompt and throrough and would recommend your service to other travellers.
I found the AnHotel do Largo clean and basic and very central to the city. Many taxi drivers did not know of the hotel and so it was helpful to have the address with us. The centre of the city seemed very seedy at night and I did not feel safe walking around the streets but inside the hotel was ok and the staff all spoke reasonable english.
Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge was again very efficient and welcoming. The guides were very knowledgeable and spoke great english. We all found the location of the tours very monotomous as they always went to the same locations (maybe they were restricted where and they could go). The pool was a real plus and we utilised it with the children a lot between tours. The food was excellent and the tours were very punctual. The highlight was walking in the forest with a knowledgeable guide and feeding the dolpins.
Overall, we had a great experience however I would recommend to others to go in the wet season as the dry season seemed to limit what we could do and where we could go.
