The ‘boys trip to the Amazon’ was a great success. We all had our expectations exceeded and the crew of the Jacaré Açu could not have been more helpful, fun, or professional. Noah was our primary guide, and he worked tirelessly to make sure everyone had anything they needed or wanted at all times.
The other crew members also made us feel at home. The boat was in great condition, and our itinerary was as good as it gets on the Rio Negro. You were absolutely correct about ‘no mosquitoes’ on the Rio Negro. That was a real plus.
Feel free to have any of your future prospective guests contact me regarding the lack of necessary shots, etc.
The hotel St Paul was another good choice. We all enjoyed the breakfasts and location near the Opera House. I caught a free concert on our return Sunday night. It was a thrilling way to end my Amazon experience.
Salvador turned out not to be such a good choice on my part. Rain/wind kept the beaches empty. I should have chosen somewhere that was sunny, but that’s not always possible.
Overall, I know that you did everything we asked of you, and much more. The service you provided to us was exceptional, and the prices were very fair. I will circulate this email to my group, and ask them to add comments.
