Hotel Saint Paul / Anavilhanas Lodge

Dear Luciana,

Thank you for you mail. My comments are below:

Amazonas Viverde: I am very happy with the service. The consultant, Luciana, was very patient with me as I kept changing dates and packages but she was very understanding and managed to get me bookings on time. I also have checked around and other agencies charge more for the same package. The agency was also able to help me with hotel booking at Manaus.

Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge: although a little far from the city (about 4hrs trip), the lodge is certainly one of the best as you do feel in the middle of the jungle while the city lights are visible from other lodges so the experience is not really that exciting. The staff are amazing (especially Cedric from reception) and very helpful and warm. Our guide, Krishna, was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. The buffet is very tasty and offers quiet an extensive choice of food with fish, meat, chicken and vegetarian options. There was also nice deserts and fruits available. The lodges are very good in size, air conditioned, clean and so was the shower which had hot water at all times. The swimming pool had stunning views and this was one of the few lodges that offers feeding the dolphins activity (included at no extra cost) which is a must do!

Saint Paul Hotel: although I only spent the night (in @ 23:30 out @ 9), the hotel was very clean with nice rooms and a nice breakfast.
Thank you.

Sincerely yours,

Younes Yangui.
