My husband and I have just arrived back from Sao Paulo. Apologies for not getting in touch with you until now.
Thank you very much for arranging the reservations on the Hotel Saint Paul and the Iberostar Grand Amazon cruise. The holiday was a great success and we can say that we had a fantastic time there in Manaus/Amazon.
The staff at the hotel Saint Paul were very friendly and allowed us to check in earlier and check out later to fit in with our travel arrangements…many thanks to all of them.
The Iberostar Grand Amazon cruise was excellent and we would recommend it to anyone thinking of going to the Amazon. We liked very much that all the guides were local people that knew all about the forest, the animals and its people.
The accommodation was very good and comfortable. The food was excellent for people that liked fish….I loved all the different fishes that were served, but my husband unfortunately does not eat fish and the meat dishes sometimes were not as good. I also thought that they could have served a few more fruits of the region!!??
Manaus was quite an experience with its busy streets….we loved the Theatre and the squares around it…..but we were not prepared for the very, very, very hot weather!!!!!
