Apologies for the delay in responding – I just got back from my holiday this weekend. Comments below as requested:
(a) Viverde
Excellent service – you were extremely helpful, flexible and patient. Your website is very good too, with good descriptions of the lodges and hotels. Also, the fact that I booked everything through you meant that the transfers to and from the hotel and lodges were very smooth, I didn’t have to worry about anything and did not have to wait for buses, etc.
(b) Juma Lodge
It really was in the jungle! A lovely lodge with excellent staff and great food. The tour guide we had was really good, he was local person and hence knew the jungle really well. I loved the fact that the package was all-inclusive and that everything was so well-planned and organised for us.
(c) Tropical Ecoresort
A decent hotel, very large. Good food and decent facilities (including a zoo!). The first room we had (on the first night) was a bit old-fashioned, the second room (on the last night) was much better. I didn’t like the fact that they charged BR-10 per bag to store our luggage – never heard of that before!
